I am a Devon based software test consultant providing specialist software testing services on a freelance basis to clients in a wide variety of different business environments. Examples of some recent client business areas are: financial services, utilities, telecomms, aerospace, supply chain management, marketing.

I believe that a structured and pragmatic approach to testing your business support applications, within the context of your individual business and organisational constraints by an experienced test practitioner is substantially more important than detailed expertise in any one specific business area.

Business knowledge and expertise have their place, but client staff can usually provide invaluable support and guidance in those areas. Not only does this benefit your organisation by ensuring that your own staff are strongly placed in shaping the direction that your business applications take but it allows me to add value to your organisation where you need it and where I'm best placed to add it.

My home base is Devon, UK. However, I travel frequently in the course of providing freelance services to clients and am happy to accomodate location into the work. I am happy working on-site alongside your staff, off-site at my own premises or more commonly a mixture of the two as required to accommodate your business needs; it's all driven by client needs and everything is available for shaping in line with your requirements.
